Academic and career persistence in STEM

This line of research examines the factors that influence STEM persistence among women and women of color enrolled in both graduate and undergraduate academic programs. Included in this line of work are skills and strategies to engender retention, ways in which male faculty can become better allies, and the development of psychometrically valid measures to facilitate the large-scale examination of women’s experiences in STEM spaces.
